VAREP accepts property donations from private and public sources to create mortgage-free homeownership opportunities for veterans. Donated homes are renovated—often including flooring, paint, and essential repairs—to ensure they are safe, functional, and move-in ready.

Through this program, VAREP transforms blighted properties into revitalized homes that strengthen communities, create jobs, and honor those who served.

Important:

  • Home recipients are responsible for ongoing maintenance and repairs after receiving the home. Long-term success depends on pride in ownership and responsible upkeep.
  • This program is not just about receiving a home—it’s about achieving sustainable homeownership through education, accountability, and long-term support.
