No. MVPro™ is not a government program and does not represent endorsement by HUD, VA, DoD, or any federal or state agency.

No. MVPro™ complements—not replaces— your existing license or certification (outside of VAREP) by adding military and veteran cultural competency, VA program knowledge, and ongoing accountability.

To enroll, you must:

• Be a VAREP National Core Member (free)
• Maintain a Housing Professional Subscription
• Eligibility also depends on the designation track selected.

• MVPro™ Lender – Mortgage and lending professionals
• MVPro™ Counselor – HUD-Certified Housing Counselors only
• MVIE – Industry Educator – MVPro™ Agent™ or Lender™ designees
• MVCE – Community Educator – MVPro™ Counselor™ designees

If a required prerequisite lapses, your MVPro™ designation may be placed in Probationary status until eligibility is restored and verified.

Courses may be delivered through:

• Online, on-demand LMS courses
• Live virtual instruction
• In-person classes (when offered)
• Delivery format is listed at registration. Not all courses are available in all formats.

All core coursework and the designation exam must be completed within 30 days of payment.

You enter Probationary status and receive a 30-day reinstatement window. If requirements are still not completed, cancellation and reinstatement rules apply (see Status & Refunds).

Yes. Each designation track includes required exams and assessments.

A minimum score of 80% is required.

• One immediate retake is allowed
• After a second failure, a 24-hour wait is required
• Maximum of three attempts per course or exam

Exam integrity violations may result in suspension or revocation of the MVPro™ designation without refund.

Yes. All MVPro™ designees must complete:

• Two (2) CE courses annually
• CE is measured from your MVPro™ track completion date

CE topics include military life, ethics, fair housing, SCRA, VA benefits, financial readiness, trauma-informed practice, systems of care, and crisis awareness. Topics may evolve over time.

You are placed on Probationary status and given a 30-day reinstatement window. If CE is not completed, cancellation and reinstatement rules apply.

Yes. All MVPro™ designations require recertification every three (3) years from designation completion date.

No. The MVPro™ Directory is optional and available for $30/year. Cancelling the directory does not cancel your designation.

Yes. VAREP members who completed MVHC, MVLC, or Duty to Serve (DTS) within the past 36 months may be eligible for prior coursework recognition toward an MVPro™ designation.

However, prior coursework does not automatically grant an MVPro™ designation.

To convert eligible prior coursework into an MVPro™ designation, you must:

• Enroll in the MVPro™ designation subscription
• Upload proof of prior coursework during onboarding for verification
• Complete all coursework in the current MVPro™ track
• Pass the current MVPro™ designation exam
• Agree to ongoing CE, recertification, and Code of Conduct requirements

Note: Eligible members may receive a $220 credit toward the MVPro™ Agent or MVPro™ Lender designation fee in recognition of prior participation. The credit recognizes prior learning while ensuring all MVPro™ designees meet the same current standards.

Yes. VAREP members may enroll in individual courses without participating in the MVPro™ designation program.

During course registration, you will choose whether the course is being taken:

• As a standalone course (course-only), or
• As part of the MVPro™ designation pathway

Course-only enrollment includes:

• Access to the selected course
• A certificate of course completion

Course-only enrollment does not include:

• MVPro™ designation status
• Authorization to use MVPro™ titles or logos
• Inclusion in the MVPro™ professional directory
• CE credit toward MVPro™ requirements
• MVPro™ status tracking or recertification eligibility

Note: Members who initially enroll in a course-only format may later choose to pursue the MVPro™ designation by enrolling in the MVPro™ subscription, paying the designation fee, and completing all required designation requirements.

Yes. Written appeals may be submitted according to VAREP policy. Appeal decisions are final.

Refunds are limited and governed by completion timelines:

• Partial refunds may apply only in specific early cancellation scenarios
• No refunds are issued after reinstatement windows expire or for disciplinary actions

No. MVPro™ does not guarantee employment, referrals, income, loan approvals, or government benefits.
