LEGISLATIVE COMMITTEE
The National Legislative Committee was formed to maintain the momentum from the Policy Conference. The NLC’s task is to do the background and heavy-lifting work necessary to move our mission and the bill forward.
ASSOCIATION LEADERSHIP COMMITTEE
The Association Leadership Committee (ALC) mentors and supports VAREP chapters nationwide, providing guidance, training, and accountability to build strong, sustainable leadership aligned with VAREP’s mission of community service through education, advocacy, and philanthropy.
EDUCATION COMMITTEE
The National Education Committee supports the VAREP Training Institute in developing and overseeing housing, financial, and professional education programs that meet HUD, VA, and industry standards while advancing VAREP’s mission to educate, empower, and equip veterans, servicemembers, and communities for sustainable homeownership.
NATIONAL CHARITY COMMITTEE
The National Charity Committee (NCC) drives VAREP’s mission of service by overseeing charitable initiatives, vetting grant candidates, and coordinating trusted partnerships. Working with members, chapters, & VETCares, the committee ensures fundraising & volunteer efforts deliver meaningful impact for veterans, servicemembers, & their families nationwide.
NATIONAL GRIEVANCE COMMITTEE
The National Grievance Committee (NGC) provides a fair, confidential process to review member concerns, mediate disputes, and recommend resolutions consistent with VAREP’s values and bylaws. By guiding chapters and ensuring accountability, the committee upholds integrity, transparency, and trust across the organization.
NATIONAL FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE
The National Fundraising Committee (NFC) leads and supports VAREP’s fundraising strategy across all chapters for successful events. The committee ensures all fundraising from VAREPCares local level initiatives and VETCares programs nationally are accountability and sustainable.
